5 tips for avoiding wrinkles by the sun

Summer has arrived and although all we want is to start sunbathing and get the tannest that we can, we must know that sun is the principal cause of skin aging and for this reason is important to be aware and take the necessary measures to avoid irrevocable damages.


Using sunscreens with high SPF is not the only thing that will help us to fight wrinkles, it´s also important to follow the next tips and advices so as avoid damages in short and long terms:


  1. Face cleansing:  remove makeup before going to bed and keep a good daily cleansing ritual.  Environmental pollution is one of the causes of premature aging.
  2. Food: avoid junk foods and eat more fruits, vegetables, beans and proteins.  A balanced diet is key to nourish the skin from inside. Besides, drink at least 1.5 liters of water a day.  
  3. Sleep: between 7 and 8 hours of sleep per day is recommended for a glowing skin. Tiredness leads to premature aging.
  4. Sun protection: use sunscreen with at least SPF 30 daily and if you are going to sunbath, apply sunscreen every 2 hours.  The sun is the main factor for the appearance of wrinkles.
  5.
